UPDATED: Presentation Guidelines

The Virtual Format of the 17th ECHA conference will continously offer opportunities present your research results and/or case studies and experiences in several different formats.

All submissions must be made in English via the online submission platform.

We have made some adpatations to the formats and session durations to enhance and presenters and participants experience online;

1. SYMPOSIA
A group of papers submitted around a common theme. Allowing the presenters 15 minutes each and time for a discussion in the chat channel at the end of the session. Each online symposium will have a total duration of 1hr. The session is moderated by the symposia coordinator.

2. ORAL PRESENTATIONS ONLINE
Individual papers allowing the author/presenter 15 minutes of oral presentation in a session where papers are grouped together around a theme. Authors are requested to select 3 optional themes when submitting their abstract. Time will be provided for questions to be placed in a chat channel at the end of the session. The sessions will have the duration of 45 min/1hour.

3. FLASH PRESENTATIONS - YOUNG RESEARCHER FORUM
This is an oral presentation as well but the duration is only 8 minutes and the idea is to provide young researchers an opportunity to present to a larger audience and be seen in the international community of researchers. This sessions would also be for launching of hot topics in a more informal session with a duration of 45 min/1 hour. Authors are requested to select 3 optional themes when submitting their abstract.

4. VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS
The workshop sessions will have the duration of 30 minutes and are hosted by one or two presenters and is thought to provide practical interactive demonstrations and hands-on experiences with research tools and methods for example in, but not limited to, areas of performing or other art forms.

5. E-POSTERS
Posters presenting research results and case studies will be placed centrally in the Poster gallery available to on demand viewing at all times during the conference. Posters will be grouped by theme and authors are requested to select 3 optional themes when submitting their abstract as poster. The poster presenters will be given the opportunity to provide a 3 minutes videoclip to present their poster.
